Our last day in Nantes started at eight in the
morning, at least for me. First we were divided in to groups of four people and
then we went for example to a biology lesson. The classrooms were a bit
different in France than in Finland. For instance they had much better
working spaces for sciences than we do and the rooms were a bit bigger, but one
of the major differences was that they didn’t have their own laptops. The
lesson I went to was pretty interesting because we examined a real heart of a
pig.
After the lessons we went to get our luggage and
headed to the nearest bus stop. At the train station of Nantes we said goodbye
to our correspondents and bought some snacks from a nearby local store for the
upcoming trip. The train left Nantes at approximately twelve o’clock. The trip
to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport took about three hours so were there at
four.
Our flight back to Finland wouldn’t departure until
8pm so we had about four hours of spare time at the airport. Even though we had
so much spare time, it took us like two hours to get through check-in, bag-drop
and the security check.
Before our flight back to Finland a few people bought
some souvenirs from the airport and others either searched for food or waited
at the gate.
After the three-hour flight back to Finland we
landed at Helsinki at about eleven o’clock and that was due to a one-hour time
difference. Then after that we all got our luggage and headed back to
Hyvinkää.
