Weekend
On the weekend me, my correspondent Maureen
and her family went to La Baule. They had a house close to the beach.
We were there the whole weekend. On Saturday we went to the marketplace
where
I got a traditional bowl and a flag for souvenirs from the family.
After that we went to walk along the beach. The weather was kind of
windy but it looked beautiful. We went to eat lunch at Le Croisic in to a
restaurant by the beach. We ate galettes and for
dessert, crepes. When we had eaten, we walked along the beach and the
family showed me around the city. We also went to get milkshakes after. On
Sunday morning we woke up at nine then
ate breakfast and went to walk outside. We went again to the
marketplace to buy food. Then we ate lunch at the house made with the
items just bought. Later we met up with Leena and her
correspondent and their family. Together we went to a cafe and shopping.
After that, we went back to the house to meet up with Maureen's
relatives. They were really nice and polite. We talked with the
relatives for a little
while, then we took off and went back to Nantes. Back at home we ate dinner and went to sleep. Overall the weekend was great.
